Naira Marley Denies Stealing ‘Soapy Dance’
Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has finally responded to allegations levelled by some upcoming artists that he stole his trending ‘Soapy Dance’ from them.
According to the artist in a live instagram video he made Yesterday, July 4, he stated that he has never seen his accusers.
He also said that he started the dance since he was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in May, 2019.
Furthermore, he pointed out that his ‘Soapy” dance step is very different from theirs.
Recall that earlier a Nigerian artist called Chief Ogbonnaya alleged that Naira Marley stole his ‘Flop Flop’ dance and renamed it ‘Soapy”.
